Directions from the North

From the A189 take the slip road to Bedlington Station. At the roundabout bear left, continue for a short distance, and take the next right towards Bedlington Station. This will bring you to the A1147. Continue ahead through the set of traffic lights. Earth Balance is approximately 1 mile along that road on the right hand side. The site windmill is visible from the main road.

Directions from the South

From the A189 follow the brown/white tourist signs for Earth Balance. Take the turn signposted Bedlington Station A1331 then A1147. Follow the road across to the left and continue straight ahead through the set of traffic lights. Earth Balance is approximately 1 mile along that road on the right hand side. The site windmill is visible from the main road.

Public Transport

The X22 bus routes maintained by Arriva bus company starts in Newcastle Haymarket and pass by the site (in between the stops at Bedlington Station and Stakeford, Half Moon).  For more information on this service: See the Arriva Website.
